I really, truly, honestly had no intention of buying another horse when I went to the miniature horse auction with a friend, nor did I ever plan on owning any mini over 34".  Then I saw Jazz.  He was alert and interested, curious rather than concerned by the slightly chaotic environment.  I was drawn initially by his poise and self-confidence, but a closer look showed me a very nicely put together and well-built two-year-old with the most fascinating colouring I've ever seen on a horse.  Jazz is a Silver Buckskin Pinto, with his pinto spots restricted to his stockings.  Not to mention his hazel eyes.  He also happens to have a lot of personality and a really nice disposition.

I bought Jazz as a future driving horse, and he should be pretty eye-catching in the ring with his fantastic trot and flashy 'cow socks'.  Meanwhile, he's proving himself to be a darn good halter horse, just missing the win at his first show (the judge told me it was only due to his dancing in the line-up), but making good at his second show.
